Vibe code an affiliate portal and let Influencer Gift Form send the welcome gifts
One brand on IGF built its own creator portal with AI coding tools and hooked it up to the IGF API. Every two weeks, hundreds of creators claim a free gift from it, and nobody on the team sends one by hand. The creator taps a link, and six minutes later the order is in Shopify, ready to ship.
The problem: links that get shared
A gift form link is easy to send. That's the good part.
It's also easy to forward. One creator posts it in a group chat. A friend fills it in. Then a friend of a friend. Now you are shipping free product to people who never agreed to post anything.
Once a creator program gets to hundreds of creators, that adds up fast. As the brand's affiliate manager put it:
"That way it prevents people from sharing the links with their friends or shipping products to other addresses."Affiliate Manager, top TikTok Shop brand
The fix: every creator gets their own link, good for one order, on a set schedule.
What they built
The brand built its own creator portal. Think of it as a home base for affiliate creators. In their words, it's an internal CRM:
"Where they upload their videos and get paid out."Affiliate Manager, top TikTok Shop brand
Here's what a creator sees:
The creator joins the brand's creator program.
Claim a gift
The portal hands them a gift link made just for them.
Pick products and enter an address
Their name and TikTok are already filled in.
Post a video
Then upload it to the portal.
Get paid
The brand pays the creator for the video.
Two weeks later, a fresh link shows up
And the loop starts again.
The portal belongs to the brand. The gift part runs on IGF.
How IGF fits in
When a creator taps "claim," the portal sends one request to the IGF API. IGF sends back a brand new gift link. That link:
- Works one time. After the creator orders, the link closes itself. Forward it to a friend and the friend gets nothing.
- Already knows the creator. Name and TikTok handle are filled in, so the creator only picks products and types an address.
- Copies a form the brand set up once. Same products, same limits, same branding. Change the main form and every new link follows.
- Shows up as a real Shopify order. The warehouse ships it like any other order.
The team set this up once. Since then, the portal and IGF do the work.
The numbers
The first month of the portal, September 16 to October 16, 2026:
- 896 gift links made by the portal
- 80% of links turned into an order (716 orders)
- 6 minutes typical time from link to order
- 71% of orders placed within an hour of the link
- 586 different creators gifted
- 138 re-gifts, about every 16 days
- 18,100 TikTok followers for the typical creator
- 2 in 3 gifts went to creators with over 10K followers
- 45% of orders shipped outside the US (UK, Canada, Germany, Australia and more)
- 15 hours typical time from order to shipped
- 715 of 716 used links closed themselves after one order
- 0 gift orders typed in by hand
Two numbers stand out.
6 minutes. Creators claim their gift almost as soon as the link appears. When a creator doesn't have to DM back and forth, they just order.
16 days. The goal was a new gift every two weeks. The data shows almost exactly that. The schedule runs itself.

Give every creator their own one-time gift link
Your portal, CRM or spreadsheet asks IGF for a link. The creator orders once, the link closes, and the order lands in Shopify.
Why this works
Every gift is tied to one person. A link that works once can't be passed around, so nobody has to watch for it.
Creators get a reason to come back. A fresh gift every two weeks, plus pay for every video. That keeps the content coming.
The team stays small. About 150 gifts a week go out with zero manual orders. The team spends its time on creators, not copy and paste.
It runs worldwide. Almost half the gifts ship outside the US, and they all land in Shopify the same way.
You don't need a dev team
This portal was vibe coded with AI coding tools. The IGF part is one API call.
If you run a creator program, an affiliate portal, or even a Google Sheet with a script, you can do the same thing:
Set up one gift form
Add the products you want to send, your limits and your branding.
Turn on the API
In IGF, go to Settings, then Developer. Generate an API key and pick your form under "Form to copy."
Ask for a link when a creator earns a gift
Pass their name and TikTok if you have them. IGF sends back a link that works once.
Send the link
IGF handles the order.
Build your own creator gifting loop
One API call per gift. Every order lands in Shopify, and every link works once. Free to install.
